The Blue Devils are coming off a 22-0 blowout victory against Bellefonte, and this week they will face Forest Hills at home in the Laurel highlands Week 10 crossover game at Memorial Stadium.

It’s also Senior Night for the football team, cheerleaders, and marching band.

The 6-3 Rangers present B-A with many challenges.

“They are big on the line and have some very skilled players. This will be a very good football game,” Coach Lovrich said.

Bellwood last week looked great on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side, quarterback Bradyn Partner threw for 61 yards on 4 completions, with a touchdown to Jeffery Waite. Chase Plummer and Alex McCartney combined for 101 yards rushing, with Plummer scoring one touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, B-A shut the Raiders down, holding them just more than 100 total yards. The Blue Devils limited Bellefonte to 59 rushing yards and 46 passing yards.

Colin Gibbons had 3 interceptions.

“We study film on our opponents, and our defense puts in pride and effort,” said cornerback Jackson Dorminy.

The Blue Devils this season has 736 passing yards and 1,585 rushing yards.

Forest Hills is coming off a high scoring game, losing to Bishop McCort 73-47. The Rangers surrendered 35 points in the fourth quarter after leading 41-38 at the end of the third.

Rangers quarterback Xander Richardson threw for 125 yards and a touchdown and ran for 219 yards with 5 rushing touchdowns. Xander this season has 873 passing yards and 961 rushing yards carrying their team.

“Xander Richardson does a lot for them on both sides of the ball, so we need to make sure we are able to contain him,” Coach Lovrich said.

The Rangers this season have generated 1,333 passing yards and 1,346 rushing yards, spreading the ball evenly throughout.

It makes for a a good matchup. Forest Hills is a good passing team, and Bellwood’s pass defense has been sharp and getting stops and turnovers.

The Blue Devils have already secured district 6 2A playoff spot after their win last Friday, but a win tonight could be enough to boost them into the No. 6 position.

This is Bellwood’s last game of the season before playoffs begin.
